We at Fairfield believe that igniting a passion for the environment in the early stages of a child’s journey through school fosters a lifelong love of outdoor learning, which is why we take learning from the classroom into the great outdoors!

The Big Sing is back 🎵
We`re delighted to share that the Big Sing, a flagship event organised by Fairfield Prep School, will be returning to De Montfort Hall in 2027!
The event invites hundreds of young voices from Years 5 and 6 in primary schools across Leicestershire to learn and perform a brand new song cycle titled, Attenborough’s Wondrous World. Following his 100th birthday, the concert is set to celebrate Sir David Attenborough’s work with six original songs written by Andrew Groom, Head of Prep Music at Loughborough Schools Foundation, which have strong cross-curricular links with Key Stage 2 Science and Geography🌍
