Our sports curriculum is broad and balanced and focused on preparing children for a lifelong involvement in sport and physical activity. Netball, football and swimming all have comprehensive programmes that cater to all skill levels from beginners to committed junior athletes. We provide coaching, training and match opportunities that allow natural talent to develop and establish a solid foundation for future growth.
This week, our Year 2 pupils enjoyed a trip to Beaumanor Hall to experience what life was like for children in Victorian times. From school lessons with a strict Victorian teacher to doing chores such as ironing and washing, they all had a brilliant time.

At Fairfield, Wrap Around Care is designed to provide a helping hand for busy parents and children can join us for our Breakfast Club and/or After School Club. Our welcoming Breakfast Club provides a healthy start to the day whilst our After School Club provides a light tea, homework supervision (Upper Prep) and a variety of age appropriate activities. This half-term, many of our pupils have been developing their confidence and performance skills at our weekly lunchtime concert, Soundbites. With a programme of performances that varies each week, we`ve heard pieces played on the piano, violin, by our strings orchestra and more! Our Harvest collection is ready to be donated! Pupils and their families from Kindergarten through to Year 6 have generously donated a wealth of store cupboard essentials, from pasta and rice to soup, tea, coffee and ceral, to this years chosen charities. We had a wonderful Harvest celebration this morning and enjoyed welcoming parents to hear their children sing. Thank you to everyone involved in organising and distributing our Harvest collection too!
We`ve witnessed some excellent hockey today and thoroughly enjoyed hosting the @iapsuk U11 Hockey Qualifier! It`s been wonderful to welcome such a large number of prep schools to compete and we saw some great matches being played throughout the day. Well done to all those involved!
