Individual Support

Individual Support

Small class sizes and dedicated staff mean that each child’s individual needs are known by their teachers and support staff. Our aim for all our pupils is that they feel safe and supported to learn and thrive in an environment of high expectations, nurture, care and support.  As a result, our children relish challenges and embrace opportunities to learn with enthusiasm.

All pupils’ academic and personal progress is monitored regularly by the staff who know them well. Staff are tasked with ensuring that children’s needs are met at their individual level.

The success of any intervention or booster is monitored via assessment and tracking processes. Support is bespoke and adapted as necessary to work towards the desired outcomes. Regular meetings between school and home help support pupils on their learning journeys.

Where necessary, and after consultation with parents/carers, referral to outside agencies for additional support such as Educational Psychologists, Speech and Language/Occupational Therapists can be facilitated.
