Forest Tots 2-4 Years

About our Forest Tots Sessions

Thursdays, 9:15 – 10:00 am | Term-time only

Sessions will rotate between different outdoor areas at Fairfield Prep and our large Forest School area on campus. All sessions are carefully planned and run by Mrs Alves, a fully qualified teacher and Level 4 forest school trainer/ leader. Activities will be a mix between teacher-led and exploratory play.

We welcome you to come along and socialise with like-minded families, take a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, breathe in the fresh air and see what Fairfield Prep has to offer.

Please note that Forest Tots runs whatever the weather so please ensure that you and your little one come suitably dressed for the day’s weather, including outdoor footwear a spare set of clothes for your little one and a changing mat / changing resources. A toilet is available at all locations. A private place for nappy changing can be made available but please note that these are outdoor sessions and so facilities may be basic depending on our base for the session! Prams and push chairs are suitable but please note that the ground may be grass/ muddy and uneven. You are welcome to feed your child if needed during the session, a private area can be made available if required.

If weather conditions are deemed too extreme or unsafe then sessions will be cancelled and you will be notified.

Please note that a parent/ grandparent/ carer is required to stay for the entire duration of the session and you are always fully responsible for your child.

Please meet at Fairfield reception to register and Mrs Alves will meet you there. Arrival and registration from 9:05am. The session will run from 9:15 am – 10:00 am.
